Description
Brother Sun Hand Block Printed Duvet Covers are made from 100% sustainably produced organic cotton and hand block-printed with Oeko Tex dyes. Our duvet covers are made from the softest long staple cotton, that only get better with time. The texture is a mid-weight tight weave that is wrinkle resistant, matte out of the dryer and shiny when ironed.

The color Tropic is a hand block-printed sun in a tropical greeny-blue, on a white back ground.

The color Desert, is a hand block-printed sun in a warm desert yellow/gold, on a white back ground.

All of the patterns look great matched with color or against flat white.

Our fitted sheets are 17 inches deep with a sturdy thick elastic to ensure a great fit on any mattress, and our flat sheet has a generous 14 inch hem at the top.

The Duvet Covers are finished with natural brown buttons made from coconut fiber, which are very durable, but fully biodegradable.

All our pillowcases have a 4.5" folded over hem at the edge of opening.

Common questions

How long will a candle last?

The 7.2 oz jars give 40 to 50 hours, and the 12.5 oz double-wick gives 70 to 80. Burning for three to four hours at a time, rather than all evening, gets you closer to the top of that range.

Why has my candle tunnelled down the middle?

Almost always the first burn. Wax has a memory, so if the first burn is put out before the melted pool reaches the edge of the glass, it will follow that same path every time after. Let the first burn run about two hours.

What is in the wax?

A blend of coconut and soy wax. Coconut holds fragrance well and burns slowly; soy gives it the structure to stand up in a jar. Both are vegetable waxes, so there is no paraffin. More on why we chose it.

Can I reuse the glass?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Pour just-boiled water into the finished jar, wait for the last of the wax to lift and set on top, then lift it out and wash the glass with warm soapy water.

Candle, reed diffuser or room spray?

Candles suit rooms you sit in, diffusers suit rooms you pass through, and sprays are for resetting a room quickly. We go through it properly here.
